Konya Investment Climate Was Promoted in UAE

Mevlana Development Agency Konya Investment Support Office visited United Arab Emirates in order to attend the WAIPA (World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies) General Assembly Meeting and 22nd World Investment Conference.

Konya Investment Support Office also paid visits to other institutions during the visit to the state. Within the scope of the visit, the first meeting was held with Consul General of Turkey in Dubai, Erdem Ozan. Exchange of views were made on Konya economy and potential cooperations.

After the visit to consulate general, we visited Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry that visited us in May 2017. We had a fruitful meeting with the chamber's authorities about Konya economy and future cooperations as well.

Then our office went to Expo Centre Sharjah and got information on their activities.

Last step of the visit consisted the meeting with Turkish Business Council in Dubai&Northern Emirates Chairman Mr. Nevzat Esen. We evaluated current economic relations and possible opportunities.
