Konya Investment Climate Was Promoted In Bulgaria

Mevlana Development Agency Konya Investment Support office paid visit to multiple institutions in Bulgaria in order to promote Konya's climate of investment and economy. Our coordinator Ismail Unver and the experts Arif Koseoglu, Mustafa Dinc and Halil Sena Yetkin actively worked in Sofia and Stara Zagora to improve bilateral economic relations and future cooperations.

Within the framework of the visits, the first step of the program was at Invest Bulgaria Agency. Presentations on Konya and our development agency were given and our investment support office had the chance of learning about economy and investment climate of Bulgaria.

Later, our delegation paid a visit to Turkish businessman Mr. Niyazi Girgin who is actively running business in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. He expressed his experiences and gave advice about investing in Bulgaria and Turkey. He also underlined that bilateral investments should be made much more and there is potential in both regions.

Later in Sofia, our delegation, Turkish businessmen and our Turkish commercial counsellor Mr. Emrah Sazak came together. Exchange of opinions were made and investment climate in both cities were discussed. After a fruitful meeting, our coordinator Ismail Unver gave a presentation on Konya to the Turkish businessmen working in Sofia, Bulgaria.
