Visit from World Bank RICA Project Team to Konya

A delegation from the World Bank as part of RICA project being runby the Ministry of Development, visited Konya.

In the delegation were Kathy Huu, Marc Reichel, William Mut, Fernando Rojas, Can Selçuki and Bilgen Kahraman from the World Bank and Abdullah Taban from the Ministry of Delegation.

Within the programme, the first stop was the Directorate of Konya Organized Industrial Zone. The delegation met with Diretor Vahit Türkyılmaz on the investment status of the zone. Then A meeting was conducted in MEVKA and the delegation was presented information about the Konya investment climate and the agency.

The delegation then met with Secretary General of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Haşmet Okur and GIS Branch Manager Emra Sert, followed by a meeting with Konya Chamber of Commerce and Konya Chamber of Industry.

The last stop of the delegation was MUSIAD Konya Branch where they met Vice-President Mehmet Ali Korkmaz and some board members.
