Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources is initiating a tender with the aim of establishing one of the biggest solar power plant in Konya, Turkey. The 1000 MW plant is expected to exceed 1 billion US dollars and offers from possible investors are accepted until 12th of December 2016. Details and specifications are given below for those concerned.
The investment should include;
500 MWp/year capacity PV solar module production facility,
Establishment of a R&D Center and maintaining its activities,
Establishment of the solar power plant in the Karapınar YEKA area on given coordinates for 1000 MW connection capacity.
The production facility must be completed in 18 months, and solar power plant must be completed in 36 month after signing the contract. For the production of PV solar modules, the investor must have done the integrated production of 3000 MWp solar modules between 01/01/2014 – 30/06/2016 according to the specifications which is stated in the list of conditions, Table 1 (You should ask for it to General Directorate of Renewable Energy).
Bidding is open to joint venture groups on condition that local and foreign partners are included and share of the Turkish Republic citizens cannot be less than 25% per person. The price of the list of conditions is 10.000 TL and money will be paid to Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology Central Accounting Directorate’s account.
Applications are accepted until 14/02/2017 at 12.00 by Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources General Directorate of Renewable Energy and all applications must be delivered by hand. Tender is going to be carried out in Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources General Directorate of Renewable Energy building and start on 21/02/2017 at 14.00 with the opening of bidding envelopes and dutch auction. The price of precise, indefinite, completely or partially cashable and unlimited guarantee letter is 50 million US dollars.
Starting ceiling price of bidding: 8.00 US Dollars/kWh
Electric power buying duration: 15 Years
