Konya-Gulf Region Business and Investment Summit Was Held

With the leadership of Mevlana Development Agency and Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey; and with the cooperation of Konya Chamber of Commerce, Konya Chamber of Industry and Konya Chamber of Commodity exchange, "Konya-Gulf Region Business and Investment Summit" was held between March 20-23 with the participation of about 200 businessmen with three days of official contacts and talks including B2B meetings.

At the opening dinner, MEVKA Konya Investment Support Office Coordinator İsmail Ünver gave a presentation to the guests about the investment climate of Konya. Later, Konya Investment Support Office Expert Mustafa Dinç informed the participants on investment incentives with a presentation. At the dinner a presentation on agirculture and livestock supports and their potential in Konya was given as well.

On the second day of the event, B2B meetings were made between Turkish businessmen and the visitors from the gulf region. The meetings were made on agriculture, livestock, breeding, dairy and forage investments. After the meetings, the delegation visited Konya Agriculture Fair 2018. In the evening, a gala dinner was organised for the guests.

On the last day of the program, Karapınar Chamber of Industry and Commerce Chairman Mustafa Kemal Sözen and Karapınar Mayor Mehmet Yaka came together with businessmen from Gulf countries. Following the meeting, the delegation paid a visit farms in order to get detailed information from the first hand.
